After play group last week, Emmitt took a nap and started fresh with a good crawl. He actually knows what he's doing now as opposed to before when he didn't realize that what he was doing was successfully getting him places. Now he sees something and he uses his crawling abilities to get there.
That very same day (or was it the next day?) he pulled himself up to a standing position from his knees. Another popular way that he helps himself to stand up is by ramming his head into my stomach and goes from knees to toes to feet using the force of his head against me: the non-moving object.
And this morning he opened the tv cabinet doors, albeit by accident. That was a good trick though; one that he didn't get sick of for quite a while :)
